Aloe

Originating in Africa, aloe is well-known for its ability to sooth burns, cuts, and skin irritations. High in vitamin E, vitamin C, zinc, and amino acids, aloe has proven effective against psoriasis in double-blind trials. Although aloe's healing action isn't fully understood, scientific studies suggest that certain polysaccharides contribute to its anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and immune-stimulating properties.
